Job Description: MIS Administrator

MIS Administrator (Community Trust Study Programme)

A competitive salary with attractive benefit package

Fixed term contract (until October 2024, with potential for extension), 37½ hours per week, hybrid working (home and office based)

League Football Education (LFE) was established in 2004 by The English Football League (EFL) and The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to deliver the Sporting Excellence Apprenticeship to the 16 to 18 year old apprentice footballers at EFL clubs. We also deliver a full-time 16-19 Study Programme to the various Club Community Organisations (CCOs), who complete sport related qualifications in order to progress to University or full-time employment.

We are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to deliver the above programmes and as part of this contract, have a number of robust systems and teams in place.

Due to recent organisation growth, LFE is now looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join their Management Information Systems Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing key MIS processes and supporting the daily requirements of internal staff and various stakeholders within the Community Trust Study Programme.

Applicants must have excellent IT and communication skills, be well organised and able to work towards deadlines. Experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel is essential and experience of working with databases and online MIS related tools (e.g e-portfolio systems) is desirable, however full training will be provided.

The role is full-time, 37½ hours per week, hybrid based (on a weekly basis you will work both from home and at LFE’s Office based in Central Preston, Lancashire).

An attractive remuneration package is available, including contributory pension, life assurance and private healthcare. Holiday entitlement of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum.

LFE is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion or belief(s), gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, age or with regards to pregnancy or maternity.

LFE is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment and promote the welfare of these groups.

For further details, please download the job description and person specification.

We welcome applications from former learners who have completed Apprenticeship or BTEC programmes with LFE in the past.

To apply, please send a CV and a statement in support of your application, which addresses the requirements of the person specification including your salary expectations, to Jenny Hornby at jhornby@lfe.org.uk.
