LFE is pleased to be able to offer EFL clubs the opportunity to take part in a pre-season trip to Europe, funded by LFE and the Turing Scheme, in the summer of 2023.
The Turing Scheme is the UK government’s programme to provide funding for international opportunities in education and training across the world.
The trip will provide clubs with the opportunity to fully integrate with their hosts, including coaching sessions delivered by the host club staff, providing a fantastic opportunity for apprentices to learn new skills and gain a real insight into life within a European club. There will be a full games programme against European teams, as well as a social and cultural programme.
The 11-day trip is planned to take place between 31st July and 13th August 2023*. Eligible clubs that would like to take up this opportunity are invited to apply from Monday 7th November 2022.
The application form and the commitment statement must be submitted by email to Elaine Brand EBrand@lfe.org.uk no later than: 17:00 on Friday 2nd December 2022.
Successful Clubs will be informed no later than: 17:00 on Friday 9th December 2022.
All applications will be reviewed by a panel of LFE, PFA and EFL representatives.
All apprentices will have the opportunity to be part of the project but must ensure satisfactory progress against their SEP programme and maintain appropriate disciplinary standards.
